Welcome visual storytellers!
I’m Lara, freelance fiction and comics editor. I do picture books, too! Find out more about me here. With my professional and educational backgrounds in writing, editing, design, art, & theater, I’m uniquely experienced to edit comics, graphic novels, and illustrated works. More info after the jump.
Since 2009, I have interned for a Marvel Comics editor, have been mentored by comics editors and visual development artists, have learned from three Hollywood story consultants, and have worked with different artists and writers on every developmental stage of visual storytelling. Whether you’re writing the script, thumbnailing layouts, penciling, inking, lettering, or proofing, I’d love to work with you!
