Story Consultations—all genres
What it is: A Story Consultation takes your detailed synopsis and critiques it for content. This is not an edit; it is a way to find plot holes, cut unnecessary scenes, and restructure the plot or reframe the story.
The more detailed your synopsis, the better. I suggest a word count of 5% your manuscript’s total word count. Include paragraph breaks for each new scene. If you have multiple POVs, note those per scene.

NOTE: Until 2017, I am closed for full manuscript critiques. If you need editing services, consider my 2017 revision workshop, which will lead you through a revision of your manuscript or script and is less expensive than hiring a freelance editor. If you’d like a keen editorial eye before 2017, see my associates at MS Editors.
Full Manuscript Critique I edit and critique all genres with a few exceptions: no horror, no erotica (the genre; sensual heat is fine), no sexual violence, no depicted violence against children, no POVs in the head of misogynists or racists or sociopaths.
